PNP or PnP is an acronym that in the technical realm stands for Plug and Play, which are devices that should have a generic driver already included in most operating systems which allows the user to "Plug" in the device and immediately "Play" with it, rather than having to install drivers seperately.
My new gamepad is PNP, so I can just plug it in and play my game.
